Our Gherkins are grown locally on approximately 100 farms near to 700 acres, which provide the optimum combination of soil types and ambient temperatures. Our produce is processed under hygienic conditions, according to current International food safety standards, and are graded in different sizes as follows (but not limited to):

Our Gherkins are preserved in BRINE, ACETIC ACID and VINEGAR. Please note that as our Gherkins are packed in bulk and have a high salt and acid content, they are not pasteurised, and not ready to eat. Therefore, they need to be processed further and repacked for consumption.
Gherkins are exported in the following food-grade HMHDPE drums for maximum freshness and economy of scale:
240l – 180kg net drained weight
260l – 190kg net drained weight
